We left Ballina and arrived in Tenterfield on Sunday 8th August 2021. This was our first day back in the caravan since we moved into the new house. We have planed on a six-week tour.
The next day Ballina, Byron, Richmond, Lismore and Casino go into lockdown. Some F@#! Wit cam up from Sydney with Covid. Because we had been in Ballina in the previous week we had to self-isolate. We talked to the caravan park operator they were OK with us being there. So, we did not go to museums, café or restaurants, each day we would head out to the National Parks where there were no people.
After a week we decided to head further west to Ashford only 140km away and about 60km north of Inverell.
